BIO
As a Director of Marketing for a Medical Device company, life is governed by P&L’s, people management, and managerial decision making. Hobbies like sports (golf) are an opportunity for me to place the business world “on-hold”, and hone an athletic passion that pays off by reaching a score or certain goal. To me, photography is completely different. It is an expressive form of creativity and art that many business executives miss-out on. Over 20 years I have enjoyed primarily landscape photography. Over the past 5 years I have expanded my depth of understanding by investing in DSLR equipment. My armory now includes Nikon’s D7200, Nikon’s 35mm Prime F/1.8G, Nikon's 50mm Prime F1/8G, Sigma’s 17mm-50mm F/2.8 DC EX HSM, Tamron’s 70mm-300mm F/4-5.6 SP Di VC USD XLD, Cokin’s Z-Pro holder and GND/ND Filters, Hoya 400 ND Filter, Marumi Polarizing Filters, Manfrotto CXPro4 Carbon fiber Tripod/Ball-head, and 2 Cowboy studio Softbox lights and Photo Tent. I have also been using Nikon’s Capture NX2 software, Photoshop Elements 11, Oloneo Photo Engine (HDR Software) along with HP’s ENVY 27” IPS monitor for photo editing.
Good equipment is important, but it is the photographer that crafts the story to make a compelling image. I have learned that the camera simply serves as an electronic canvas. Thank you for letting me share my art. I am honored that people would review and consider using my photos for their business.

Soggetti preferiti:
I have been primarily a landscape and travel photographer enjoying the outdoor scenes such as oceans, lakes, architecture, urban and rural sites. I like to capture long exposure focused on water movement, creating a unique atmosphere as well as stunning sky/landscape combinations. I have also enjoyed capturing indoor creations using my photo tent. The ability to put together creative options for graphic designers to place in ads, brochures, and still video spots have been as much fun as "taking the picture".
