Throughout my working career I was required to create many presentations expressing different themes and concepts. To portray those themes and concepts, I would use photographs. I am now a photographer who finds the beauty in small details of a large subject and one who enjoys shooting story-telling images. I shoot in RAW with a Canon 40D and use the 17-40mm f/4L lens, the EF 100mm f/2.8 macro lens and the EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 lens. Most of my photographs are created using natural light.

I live in a northern suburb of Chicago with my wonderfully supportive husband, my beautiful daughter and very needy mini poodle. When not shooting photography, I volunteer for Save-A-Pet, a not-for-profit, non-kill animal shelter for dogs and cats.
